It helps if food can be bagged up per meal. Bowls, including slow feeder bowls, are all provided.

TRELAWN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Dogs are charged from their arrival date. If they leave on their due departure date by 12, we don’t charge for that day.

  • If dogs are collected earlier, we reserve the right to charge for the full length of their original booking. Dogs arriving late will be charged from the original booking date.

  • Dogs are insured during their stay at Trelawn. We exercise all due and reasonable care to prevent injury and illness to boarding dogs. However, in the event of illness or injury, the owners and employees shall not be held personally liable.

  • We reserve the right to refuse to board any dog that is in a poorly condition or unwell when it arrives.

  • Our insurance does not cover pre-existing or ongoing conditions.

  • No reduction can be made if you supply your own food.

  • An up-to-date vaccination certificate for the annual booster and Kennel Cough protection must be shown and a photocopy will be taken.

  • We are happy for dogs from the same family to be kennelled together if the owner so wishes. However, if they irritate each other or fight and need to be separated, this will incur an additional kennel charge.

  • All bedding and toys are left at the owner’s risk. Please clearly mark items with your dog’s name. We will not accept responsibility for their safe return.

  • I authorise Trelawn to obtain, on my behalf, and in my dog’s best interest, the veterinary care necessary to treat illness or injury. I have named my chosen vet and agree to pay all veterinary fees incurred.

  • I agree to pay all boarding fees before collecting my dog.

  • I understand that Trelawn prefers not to board bitches in season.

  • I agree to a trial session for my dog to check that he will settle, in a boarding environment, at Trelawn.

  • The owner or their local emergency contact will be asked to remove a difficult and unmanageable dog.

  • Whilst in our care, no dog will be allowed visitors as this can upset it and the other boarders.

  • No owners will be permitted to take their dog into the kennels on insurance and health grounds. This also helps to reduce stress for all the other dogs boarding.

  • Owners are liable for damage inflicted upon Kennel staff or property by their dog.

  • Should any dog be found to have fleas, the owner will be liable for the cost of treating the animal by Trelawn, after consultation with the dog’s vet.
